Hygiene poverty affects health as well as the capacity of people to succeed at school, work, or any place else.

The Undie Chest is using the donation of underwear to restore dignity back to families in need so they can focus on securing quality housing, ensuring their children have a quality education, and a safe environment, and can strive for a good life.

Why was The Undie Chest founded?

The Undie Chest was founded because we wanted to go beyond just helping women and girls through The Bra Recyclers and extend our outreach to the entire family. With 1 in 6 children globally living in extreme poverty and the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic placing further strain on families, we felt we needed to do more.

We also wanted to help others reduce their carbon footprint by reducing the amount of waste going to our landfills through recycling, reusing, and repurposing highly requested items, like underwear that can help restore dignity back to individuals and families in need.
