February 16th
This February 16th, we’re focused on addressing considerable challenges affecting millions in the US.
Our Care Day initiative addresses a critical issue—underwear insecurity—in marginalized communities.
By encouraging our community and partners to foster care, kindness, and dignity - the Undie Chest aims to amplify our impact and continue providing essential hygiene items to those in need.
Our mission is to raise $7500 so we can effectively serve the needs of our community this Care Day.
Here's How You Can Get Involved:
#1 Volunteer with Us
Increase your philanthropic efforts, build your skills in the non-profit sector and volunteer your time to make an impact.
Please get in touch at contactus@undiechest.org to discuss volunteer opportunities.
#2 - Invest in Our Operational and Program Provisions
This is not just an investment into our warehouse costs, but your monetary contribution will support job opportunities for individuals who are instrumental in our day-to-day operations.
Not only will you help restore dignity to people in need, but your Care Day efforts will provide purpose to those who otherwise struggle to get work opportunities.
#3 - Donate Bras and Underwear
This is a great opportunity to clear out any unwanted, gently used bras or new underwear with tags. We accept all sizes of boys, girls, mens and women's underwear.
Your inventory donations will directly impact the people facing adversity in our community
#4 - Matching Gifts Program
Many employers offer a matching gift program, providing the opportunity to double your impact. Check with your employer if they run this scheme to double your difference this Care Day.
#5 - Share that You Care on Social Media
Sharing our initiative on social media is a great way to help us extend our outreach and support more people in our community.
Please follow us on social media, invite your friends to our page and look out for our post so you can share with your network.
