From April 4th to May 7th, Undie Chest is not just celebrating Earth Month but also creating an opportunity for you to actively participate in a mission to make a positive impact and win a $100 gift card.

Why Are We Doing This?

As we observe Earth Month, we must recognize our world's environmental and social challenges. 

One significant issue is textile waste, a byproduct of the fast-paced fashion and retail industry. According to recent statistics, the retail sector contributes significantly to environmental degradation, with around 92 million tons of textile waste generated annually globally.

At Undie Chest, we believe in addressing these challenges head-on. Our partnership with HundredX for purposeful data collection is not just about charitable donations; it's a commitment to influencing positive change within the business and retail sectors. 

By sharing your opinions on brands and services, you contribute to a data-driven initiative that promotes sustainability and responsible practices in an industry notorious for its environmental impact.

Your opinion helps generate funds and purchase underwear for people facing hygiene poverty, which helps build up underserved communities.

What Is Earth Day?

Earth Day is an annual event celebrated worldwide on April 22nd to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Originating in the United States in 1970, Earth Day is now recognized in over 193 countries. As we approach Earth Day 2024, our campaign at the Undie Chest aligns closely with the values it represents.

By emphasizing the importance of sustainability and community well-being through underwear donations, we contribute to the global effort to create healthier environments and reduce waste.

This Earth Month, we honor the history of Earth Day by focusing on restoring dignity and promoting a more sustainable future for all.

The Impact of Textile Waste

Textile waste is a growing concern, and the statistics are staggering. Do you know that the average American disposes of about 80 pounds of clothing and textiles yearly? 

The fast fashion culture and disposable mindset contribute to an alarming increase in textile waste, leading to environmental pollution and resource depletion.

Our Earth Month initiative seeks to highlight the role each of us can play in mitigating this issue. 

By participating in our purposeful data collection, you not only support the Undie Chest mission but also contribute to more sustainable and responsible industries.

How Does It Work?

Participating in Earth Month with the Undie Chest is simple yet impactful. For every completed survey, HundredX will donate $1.60 to the Undie Chest, supporting our mission to restore dignity to underserved communities through the provision of underwear. 

However, the impact goes beyond providing undergarments.

Take 15 minutes to submit 15 surveys on brands you use for a chance to win a $100 gift card. With just 15 survey responses, you can provide a week's worth of underwear to someone in need.

Each survey you complete contributes to reducing textile waste. The data collected helps provide feedback to brands so they can streamline their production processes and minimize excess and unsold inventory.

For those passionate about making a lasting difference, submit 75 responses and become a "changemaker," directly impacting the lives of 5 recipients.
