FedEx Cares Grant Helps To Restore Dignity

fed-ex-cares-blog

FedEx Cares grants helps The Undie Chest purchase over 1000 pairs of undies for the Everyone Deserves Underwear (EDU) program.

We are beyond grateful for a recent grant of $2,500 from FedEx Cares!

FedEx Cares is a global community engagement program from FedEx.

We used the grant to buy over 1,000 pairs of men’s underwear, one of the least donated but highly demanded items we receive. The timing of the donation was perfect, as it allowed us to deliver underwear to our newest partnership with the Glendale Elementary School District (GESD) System of Care Center. They are expecting to assist over 1,300 households, including approximately ’ approximately 10,000 students.

We look forward to doing more drop-offs in nearby school districts in the coming weeks!

Thank you, FedEx Care and GESD, for making this possible! Our collaboration will help restore dignity to individuals and families in need.
