How We’ve Transformed Retail Overstock into Opportunities for 22 Schools

In our ongoing mission to combat hygiene poverty and support students in need, the Undie Chest is proud to highlight the recent efforts of our dedicated retail partners and Michelle Grimaldi, Director of Wraparound Services.

Addressing Hygiene Poverty in Schools

Through the generous donations of undergarment overstock and returns from our retail partners, we have provided essential items to 22 Title 1 schools within the Tempe District. Hygiene poverty is a significant barrier to students' attendance and success in school, particularly for those living below the poverty line. By addressing this issue, we are restoring dignity, fostering healthier communities, and empowering students to focus on their education.

Strong Partnerships for Social Impact

Our strong partnerships with retailers who share our commitment to social responsibility make these impactful donations possible. As part of our E.D.U program, we also collaborate with Michelle Grimaldi from Student Wraparound Services to efficiently distribute these donations to those who need them most.
