The Undie Chest Featured on FOX 10 Phoenix
We’re thrilled to share that our founder, Elaine, was featured live on FOX 10 Phoenix this week to talk about our Back-to-School Undie Drive!
This coverage is a huge step in raising awareness about underwear poverty — an issue that affects far too many students but is rarely discussed.
During the interview, Elaine explained how The Undie Chest is working to reach more than 40,000 students across two Arizona school districts this August.
Our goal is simple but powerful: to ensure every student has the basics they need to feel comfortable, confident, and ready to learn.
Why it Matters
For many families living below the poverty line, underwear is not always a given.
Without it, students may miss school, face bullying, or struggle with self-esteem — all of which impact their ability to succeed in the classroom.
How You Can Help
Whether you’re an individual, business, or retailer, your support can make a tangible difference. Here’s how to get involved:
Donate new packaged underwear (ages 8–18)
Send gently used bras or adult underwear for parents in need
Download our flyer to share at your store, school, or office
Make a monetary donation so we can purchase the most-needed items
Retailers: Consider donating overstock or returns, especially as summer inventory changes to fall
A huge thank you to FOX 10 Phoenix for giving us the platform to share this important message and for helping us reach the students who need us most.
