Why Our Partnership with Threadz Teen Clothes Closet Matters

When we asked our partner, Threadz Teen Clothes Closet, why underwear matters, their answer was simple:

“So many teens don’t have access to what we consider basic.”

It’s a reality that can be hard to imagine: for some students, not having underwear means missing school.

Whether it’s due to dress code requirements, fear of bullying, or embarrassment, the impact is real.

For families living below the poverty line, the choice often comes down to food or underwear.

Threadz supports more than 6,300 high school students across four Arizona schools, offering free clothing and essentials to those who need them most.

The Undie Chest is proud to be one of their key suppliers of underwear, ensuring that students have this essential item not only for the back-to-school season but throughout the entire year.

Our Back-to-School Drive this August is an important part of that ongoing support.

Donations from our community help boost student confidence, keep kids in school, and relieve pressure on parents already facing tough financial decisions.

When students have access to basic necessities, they can focus on learning, growing, and building a brighter future for themselves and for our community.

The Undie Chest is a nonprofit that aims to restore dignity, foster healthier communities, and reduce our environmental impact through underwear donations.

Access to proper hygiene promotes confidence, self-esteem, and security, which is essential for individuals to break the poverty cycle and achieve success within their community.
